Belgium
The Directorate-General International Cooperation (DG INT) steers Belgian development policy and ensures coherence with broader foreign policy. It develops strategies, manages partnerships and monitors international cooperation. It supports sustainable development, humanitarian aid and international solidarity.
CAFI (Central African Forest Initiative)
CAFI is a multilateral partnership launched in 2015 to support six Central African countries—Cameroon, Central African Republic, DRC, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon—in implementing national investment frameworks aimed at reducing deforestation and promoting sustainable development.
Germany
The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), through its Central Africa Division, supports efforts to preserve the forests of the Congo Basin and to promote sustainable development in the region.
Norway
Norway’s International Climate and Forest Initiative (NICFI) is a key component of Norway’s international climate policy, supporting efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries (REDD+).

Catalytic is a Swiss non-profit foundation that incubates climate finance initiatives and provides technical assistance to enhance the bankability of sustainable development projects.
